Apollo Hotel Bratislava

I requested a Valentines day package, did more than expected. Got loads for what i paid for. The salt cave is amazinggg, great for naps. Sauna is also really good, gets really hot.

we got a nice room, very clean, after my request I got a large bed which was perfect for myself and kids to speed comfortably.

We are coming back from our Bratislava trip and I'm using this opportunity to write a review. The Apollo hotel is neat, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. They serve different warm meals every day and there is a set of foods that are repetitive (salads, ham/salami, fruit yogurt etc...). You can help yourself with a glass of water/lemonade in the lobby, by the reception whenever you want. Towels are changed at a daily basis. People here said that is a bit outdated, but I think that that it's on purpose, it possess that last century's charm. It's not far away from the city centre, you can either go there on foot or take a bus/cab. Air conditioning was working in our room. We stayed there with our toddler. Great value for money!

The location is great - 20 minutes away from the city center on foot and there’s a bus stop in front of the hotel. The breakfast was quite good as well. Our room had a terrace to we were able to enjoy the view from the top of the building facing the square in front of hotel. There’s a parking available (15€ per day) which was something important as we came with our car.

We really enjoyed our 3-day stay at Apollo Hotel. We liked the place a lot, even if some people would say that this hotel seems a bit "old-fashioned" - actually this was even the charming part in our opinion. The staff (especially the guy at the reception) was really nice and helpful, we had the opportunity to interact a few times with him and were always satisfied. The wellness area is equipped with a sauna, a salt cave and a smaller gym. We used the salt cave and the sauna and it was really great - everything was clean, very relaxing. If you book the deluxe room for example then everything is included, otherwise you have to pay some additional fee for using the sauna. In times of Covid there are only people staying in the same room allowed to use the wellness area at the same time, so you have to book an appointment in advance if you want to use it. The positive fact is that you can enjoy everything for yourself. Breakfast and food was great in general (we had half-board, breakfast and dinner included). The deluxe room was nice, comfy and well equipped - we enjoyed it, although it could be a bit spacier. You have the possibility to use the private parking of the hotel for around 10€/day but there are a few parking spots available all around the hotel that are free of charge, so if you don't really need camera surveillance for your car then this might be a good option. You need approx. 15 min to the city center by foot, even if this hotel is not located completely centrally we liked it's location, it was really calm. In our opinion this place offers a stay for a good value, we liked it and will definitely come again!
